Ishkur's Guide To Electronic Music

I thought this would be a nice little site to share with all you folks out there who are confused by all the stupid genres and subgenres of electronic music out there.

http://techno.org/electronic-music-guide/

Now I just need to figure out the differences between all the -cores that have taken over the metal scene.

Also, I saw Tron Legacy a few days ago and I was wondering what you guys thought of the soundtrack by Daft Punk. I think it was quite effective as a soundtrack as long as you try not to think of it as a new album from Daft Punk and see it for what it is; a movie soundtrack.

  5. Goddamnit, that just made me more confused by introducing new-to-me genres such as: Gabber (no NO NO) Speed Garage (farting in to a pillow) and Disclaimer (well...)

That page is the shit, and I think the new Tron and everything associated with it will be taken like a curse on an Egyptian tomb.

MARK MY WORDS - This is an audible demise of Daft Punk for Disney Cash (/minor conspiracy)

  10. I thought that their score for Tron was absolutely great and that it stands alone way better than most film scores.
